SteelHome (China) Steel Price Index (SHCNSI) was 90 points (3,893 yuan) on May 11, 2026, up 0.32 points (14 yuan) from the previous trading day. Details are as below:

Construction steel: 20mm HRB400 rebar averaged at 3,390 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 24 yuan/t from previous trading day.

Medium plate: 20mm Q235 medium plate price averaged at 3,602 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 16 yuan/t from previous trading day.

HRC: 5.75mm Q235 HRC average price was 3,505 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 10 yuan/t from previous trading day.

CRC: Average price of 1.0mm SPCC CRC was 3,915 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 5 yuan/t from previous trading day.

Ex-works price of steel billet in Qian’an rose by 20 yuan to 3,120-3,130 yuan/t on May 11. Spot resources were priced 3,170 yuan/t. It is expected that billet prices will run strongly in the short term.
